The Seafood Paradise at Defu Lane had humble beginnings as a 25-seater zi char stall in 2002 when young and enterprising Eldwin Chua started offering a menu of well-executed original dishes to entice diners to an admittedly out of the way location. With just one helper, he cooked, took orders and served. Despite the humble surroundings, Eldwin believes in providing brilliant homemade dishes based on quality ingredients.
With word of mouth and media attention, within three years, Seafood Paradise at Defu Lane reached the point where expansion was necessary. Eldwin’s good food with quality ingredients has turned Seafood Paradise into destination dining, despite its inaccessible location. |
